(August, 1, 2009—HOUSTON) Hüper Optik, a leader in energy efficient window film solutions and patentedmulti-layer ceramics, announced recently the its upcoming move into a new energy efficient space that will serve as the company’s headquarters, training facility, and meeting space. As the company prepares to celebrate its 10-year anniversary, the new building, which will be registered to become a Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Certified property, will be a national hub for Hüper Optik business operations, product launches and national meetings, and continuing education training for such industry partners as the American Institute of Architects, and the American Society of Interior Designers. Planned innovations in green design and energy efficiency include, but are not limited to: green power source
(wind energy), floors crafted with renewable resources, LED lighting, and lighting control systems based upon the frequency of daylight at any given time. The new space virtually triples the square footage of the company’s current location, and includes an additional 5,000 sq. feet for future build-outs and expansions.

The property at 5821 W. Sam Houston Parkway North, in the heart of Northwest Harris County, will provide even more opportunities for natural light than the current location at 290 and Jones Road. Other environmentally friendly upgrades include solar powered and controlled outdoor lighting, low-flow toilets, and safety and security window film: the company’s own Ceramic 50 8 mil.
